King Claudio Ranieri! European Papers Pay Tribute to Leicester 'Miracle' After Historic Premier League Title Triumph

Leicester's Premier League title win is a 'miracle' according to papers in Spain, while Claudio Ranieri has been hailed as the 'king of England' in Italy.
News of the Foxes' historic achievement is carried on the front pages of many of Europe's sports newspapers on Tuesday after Tottenham's draw at Chelsea confirmed them as champions.
And Ranieri, who was born in Rome, is the focus of attention in his home country, with La Gazzetta dello Sport and Corriere dello Sport both using the headline 'King Claudio'. 




Over in Spain, Mundo Deportivo dedicate much of their front page to Leicester's unlikely victory, with a huge picture of supporters celebrating and images of the players at Jamie Vardy's house after Guus Hiddink's men fought back to earn a 2-2 draw with Spurs.
They use the headline 'Leicester miracle' and describe the new Premier League champions as 'modest' and as having a 'small budget'.

Marca use the top of their front page to pay tribute to the Foxes, with the headline 'Oleicester' as a clever play on words to celebrate the most unlikely of title wins.
They also describe the East Midlands outfit as 'modest' and say that Ranieri's men finishing top of the table is the 'greatest feat in modern football'. 
French paper L'Equipe use a big photo of Riyad Mahrez and Co celebrating in Vardy's kitchen under a headline - in English - of 'So good!'.

Leicester's title win has also made waves over in Portugal, with A Bola carrying a small story on their front page with the simple headline 'Leicester champions'.
Spanish publication AS say that Leicester's title win is 'the miracle of the century', while their website believe it will have 'struck a chord with anyone who has dreamed of doing something remarkable'.
