Dr Chris Brown Responds To 'Senseless Killing' Of Harambe The Gorilla Who Was Shot Dead When A Boy Crawled Into His Zoo Enclosure

Bondi Vet Dr Chris Brown has weighed in after a gorilla was shot after a child climbed into a zoo enclosure.
The 400-pound gorilla named Harambe was shot dead by Cincinnati Zoo officials just one day after his 17th birthday after a four-year-old boy climbed through barriers and fell into the enclosure on Saturday.
In a post to his Facebook,  Dr Chris Brown suggested there could have been other ways to deal with the situation which wouldn't have resulted in killing the critically-endangered animal.

Dr Chris Brown took to Facebook to comment on the killing of Harambe and the nature of lowland gorillas
