Pastor Mrs Folu Adeboye, the wife to Pastor E.A Adeboye; the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, was born on the 13th July 1948.Born and christened Foluke Adenike Adeyokunu, in Ilesa, Osun State.
She is a preacher, a prophetess, an educationist, author, artiste, counsellor, philanthropist, the loving wife of Pastor Adeboye and affectionate mother to all.She is involved in rehabilitating those hawking on the street which she calls Pet Project and wholistic Outreach.
She rose through the ‘little New Testament Bible’ she presented to Daddy G.O. as a token of gift on his birthday to become a leading light and, of course, a testament in every respect in God’s vineyard.

How she met Pastor Adeboye
She met Adeboye in 1965 and they got married on September 8, 1967. Said Adeboye on their courtship, “the only challenge I would say we had during our courtship was probably the strictness of her dad who was a minister in the Methodist Church. I could only visit her daughter when someone was present. If we went for a stroll, it had to be for a very limited time. Looking back now, I am very grateful to God for this because the old man was following the examples laid down by the scriptures.”

Mummy G.O. as she is popularly called has been a strong pillar and efficient planner that complements the efforts of her husband, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor E. A. Adeboye. She is endowed with immense initiative, and great capacity for hard work. Her attributes have helped the G.O obey God’s command to be great. Mummy G.O. has not only been mother to her biological children and grandchildren, she has been mother to RCCG spiritual children and more importantly has been shouldering numerous responsibilities on behalf of the Redeemed Christian Church of God mission.


Blessed with rare gifts of administration, planning, hospitality, counseling, mentoring, ministering comfort, care, and encouragement to many, bringing hope, love and succor to the hopeless. Endowed with immense initiative, and great capacity for hard work. A missionary and minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ. A powerful intercessor, Bible Teacher & role model for lots of women. A pioneer of multiple projects, ministries and missions to the glory of God.
With a passion for planting Christian schools, has made immense contributions to the Nigerian Education sector, coordinating work in the field of Christian Education, by starting a vigorous movement (Christ the Redeemer’s Schools Movement) that has led to the founding of several Christian Educational institutions caring for the educational welfare of children in Nigeria and Internationally.
A dutiful wife, a devoted mother and grandmother, a tireless evangelist, a hospitable and seasoned teacher with passion for excellence at all levels of education.



MINISTRIES

TO DATE

All the ministries  here under listed,  have Pastor Mrs. Foluke  Adeboye’s active involvement to date and continue to expand from year to year.
  • Chairperson Christ the Redeemer’s Schools Management(Movement) CRSM- Overseeing over 200 Nursery/Primary/Secondary Schools, belonging to RCCG Churches, Nationwide and Internationally.
  • Developing sustainable holistic missionary programmes, through the establishment of chapters of her African Missions Programme in Nigeria, United Kingdom, North America, South Africa, Canada, Central Africa & West Africa.
  • Vice President-Education in RCCG, Overseeing the School of Disciples (Worldwide).
  • Lecturer of Child Evangelism at the Redeemed Christian Bible College-RCBC(Worldwide)

SINCE 2004


  • Rehabilitation of Boys aged 12-20yrs taken off the Streets of Kuramuo Village, Victoria Island, by provision of a Home School- Habitation of Hope Ministry since the year-2004.
  • Rehabilitation and Evangelizing of prostitutes in major cities within and outside Nigeria through a programme –The Wholistic Outreach- since Sept. 2004

  • Chief Hostess and Visionary-Feast of Esther- An outreach ministry established in 2002 for wives of General Overseers of Churches and women who head their own ministries.
